Dogs - Opening Notes

All Exhibitors - Please Note: Starting time 1.30pm.
Trophy for best of winners in ring
Rules & conditions:

  1. Entries taken on field from 10.30 a.m. & close at 1.00 p.m.  Judging commences 1.30 p.m. sharp.
  2. Judge's decision in all matters is final.
  3. No Refunds.
  4. Whilst on the Show Grounds, all dogs must be restrained on a secure leash at all times & be under the care of an adult or a child over 12 years of age.  Dogs led by children under that age, must be accompanied by an adult.
  5. The Iverk Show Company CLG. accepts no responsibility for any accidents caused to any persons or property as a result of Dogs on the Show Grounds.
  6. Restricted Breeds on Iverk Showgrounds must be muzzled at all times,  kept on a short leash (under 2m) (this does not apply to Dogs for the Blind or Dogs used in operations by the Gardai and Rescue Operations) wearing a collar
    with the name and address of owner and must be handled by those over 16's and be fully able to control them.  
    Breeds included : American Pit-Bull Terrier, English Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Bull Mastiff, Dobermann Pinscher, German Shepard(Alsatian),  Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rottweiler, Japanese Akita, Japenese Tosa and Bandog:
    (or a strain or cross of one) 
     NO PUPPY UNDER 6 MONTHS MAY ENTER

The Irish Shows Association & Beltra Show Present

The All Ireland Gun Dog Championship 2026

(Class 7)

Final:  Beltra Show 5th September 2026. Entry Fee €3 per dog.  Entry Fee to Final €6. Prize Fund €400

Rules & Conditions

  1. Gun Dog any variety – dog/bitch
  2. Dog must be handled by a person over 16 yrs
  3. Two dogs shall qualify for the final
  4. Dogs in final not eligible to compete in other classes at Beltra Show.
  5. If a qualified exhibitor fails to attend the ISA final or fails to notify the ISA office or board member he/she will incur a financial penalty

Prizes:1st €150 and perpetual trophy or winner, 2nd €100, 3rd €75 4th €50, 5th €25

The All Ireland Irish Native Breed Dog Championship 2026

(Class 8)
Final:  Ballinasloe Show 26th September 2026. Entry Fee €3.00 per dog.  Entry Fee to Final €6.00 - Prize Fund: €400
Rules and conditions:

  • This competition is confined to Irish Native Breed any variety - dog/bitch
  • Which are as follows, Irish Glen of Imaal Terrier, Irish Red Setter, Irish Red & White Setter, Irish Soft Coated Wheated Terrier, Irish Terrier, Irish Water Spaniel, Irish Wolfhound, Kerry Beagle, Kerry Blue.
  • Entries in this championship cannot compete in any other dog classes at Ballinasloe Show. Two Dogs to qualify from each qualifying show.
  • If a qualified exhibitor fails to attend the ISA final or fails to notify the ISA office or board member he/she will incur a financial penalty
    PRIZES: 1st €150 and Perpetual Trophy for winner,  2nd €100; 3rd €75; 4th €50; 5th €25
