23: Open Racehorse to Riding Horse

  1. For horses 4 years old and older, Mares and Gelding, any height. Riders minimum age 16 yo.
  2. Horses that have won a Racehorse to Riding Horse class in previous seasons must compete in the Open class.
  3. Horses to be ridden in a snaffle, pelham or simple double bridle with a plain cavesson noseband.
  4. Riders will be asked to extend the canter with the class.
  5. Horses to be ridden by the Judge
  6. 1st Prize will receive Prize Fund Request Form - these are to be submitted to Treo Eile by the prize winner and the Treo Eile office will arrange payment of prize money on receipt.2nd -6th will be paid by the Iverk Show.
Show Horses - Opening Notes

 Show Horse & Pony Rules  All horse exhibitors must be onsite prior to 10am on show day

  1. The Iverk show will endeavour to keep to the listed times.  The show or its stewards will not be responsible if classes do not start at the allotted times for whatever reasons.
  2. Please be aware of pedestrian traffic at all times while moving horses through the show field.
  3. 15 minute lunch break for judges and Stewards
  4. Late entries will incur an additional fee of €5.00
