Pedigree or Non Pedigree, any breed, and must be born on or after 01-01-25                 

Rules:

  • Must be led by Juniors aged 16 years and under as at the 1st Jan of the current year.

This class is judged on:

  • The exhibitors ability to handle and present their animal.
  • Personal presentation of stock person.
  • Presentation of animal.

Rules and Conditions.

  1. Certificate of Movement is MANDATORY and must be PRINTED AND SIGNED and presented to the Secretary on the day of the Show. For movement queries please contact Lisa Dunne on 0834521258
  2. All cattle presented for showing must be halter led, quiet and manageable, exhibiting no excessive movement, bucking or other disruptive behaviours that could compromise the shows safety and fairness.  Iverk Show cattle stewards have the right to request the removal of any animal that may crompromise the Shows health and safety.
  3. No animal may be awarded more than one first prize other than in special classes
  4. Intending exhibitors are advised to ensure that their public Liability covers the exhibition of Bloodstock/Livestock at public Shows.
  5. Please note that photographs and footage will be taken throughout the Iverk SHow.  These will be used by the Iverk Show for promotional and archival purposes.  Photographs and recordings will appear on our website.
  6. All entry fees are non-refundable
  7. Please note that classes may not run in numerical order on show day.  A schedule will be released closer to show date
Commercial Cattle - Opening Notes
  1. No Tattooed cattle allowed.
  2. Teeth will be checked & any cattle exhibited with teeth lost are eliminated from the class of entry. 
  3. All animals to be led- No pens available. 
  4. Age must be stated on entry forms as exhibitors may be asked for proof of age. 
  5. In all mixed classes: age, sex, & quality to be considered

Winner to be Presented with The Kilmaganny Cup
Rosettes for all competitors.

Confined to 1st & 2nd prize-winners in Classes 40, 41, 42, 43 and 44
Champion will receive €70 and Cup Presentation. Reserve Champion will receive €30
