Our Classes at The Iverk Show

Wed 16th Aug 2023

See some of our previous entries to the Animal Classes at the Iverk Show

Poultry
Have you ever put your head into the red Mills poultry marque at Iverk Show and walked around? It is a fascinating exercise. It is amazing all the different breeds there are – big ones, small ones, heavy soft feathered, light soft feathered, bantams, Barbu Danvers and Pekins to name but a few. There are also some water fowls. There are miscellaneous classes for, for example, the best farmyard fowl, best furry pet and the most unusual bird. Why not check it all out on our website www.iverkshow.ie. Don’t forget the show is on Saturday the 26th August in Piltown, Co Kilkenny

Iverk Show Dog Classes

Set on the beautiful GAA pitch the two rings are perfect for showing dogs to their best. Ring 1 is for pedigree dogs with 13 classes while ring 2 has the ten non-pedigree classes. There are classes for small or large dogs, from terriers to gun dogs, from rescue to fancy dress dogs. Nearly a class for ‘everyone in the audience’. Unlike other sections in the show entries are taken on the day. You do not have to pre-entry. We also have two qualifying classes for the Gain dog food All Ireland Championship 2023 at Clonaslee Show on the 10th September.

Do check it all on our website www.iverkshow.ie.
