ACCESS TO SHOW GROUNDS
Outdoor Stands: From Friday 24th August for setting up of Trade Stands.
Indoor Stands: From Friday 24th August.
Garden/Family Area: From Friday 24th August.
Access from 8.30am on Saturday 25th August until 7.30pm that evening.
On Show Day: Adults €10
Children Under 12 years are free, if accompanied by an Adult.
Bar Facilities are provided on site by Anthony’s Inn. The Bar is located beside the Catering Marquee in Field 2.
CATERING ON SITE
Good Enuf To Eat will be providing Catering facilities on site. Breakfast will be available from 7.30am in the Catering Marquee. A variety of food will be available throughout the Show Grounds. Please adhere to Page 4 in the Catalogue for guideline food prices in the Fast Food Vehicles.
CATALOGUES & RAFFLE TICKETS
Catalogue will be on sale at the Secretary’s Office & at various locations in the Show Grounds. Please only buy from an official seller.
There are numerous FREE Car Parks adjacent to the Show Grounds & Car Parking Stewards are available to assist with Parking.
This will be opposite the Secretary’s Office in Field 1.
We would encourage everyone to have an agreed meeting point in place, in case children get separated from their minders. A good idea is to write the minder’s mobile number on the child’s hand in case they get separated in the crowds. When all else fails, we will have the details announced from the Secretary’s Office.
LOST & FOUND
Lost belongings may be handed in & retrieved at the Secretary’s Office.
There is a Map in the back of the Catalogue (and here on our website) that will assist you throughout the Grounds. Please ask an Iverk Show Steward if you would like assistance or information.
Emergency services will be provided at a few locations & also at the Medical Centre at the Secretary’s Office. If you require attention please contact a Ambulance Personnel/Doctor/Safety Officer, who will in turn make contact with the emergency services.
Everyone should take care & help to ensure that we have a safe & accident free visit to the Show. Please keep in mind that there are a lot of animals on the move around the Grounds. The terrain may be uneven, thus requiring caution with movement.
MEMBERSHIP OF THE SOCIETY

We expect that all the mobile networks will have good coverage. Please be careful with your mobile
phone, as there are usually a number of phones lost at the Show.
Raffle Tickets will be on sale at the Secretary’s Office & at various locations in the Show Grounds. Please only buy from an official seller. The only tickets on sale in the Show Grounds are official Iverk Show Raffle Tickets. Unofficial Ticket Sellers should be reported to Security. Ticket Sales by anyone else, other than an official Iverk Show Ticket Seller, is prohibited. Illegal Ticket Sellers will be reported to the Gardai & removed from the Grounds immediately.
While the majority of the classes & competitions have to be pre entered, spectators & visitors to the Show will have opportunities to avail of various competitions during the day.
• Entries are also taken on the Day for the Most Appropriately Dressed Lady & the Bonny Baby Competition.
Toilets are located at various places throughout the Show Grounds.
The Iverk Show, takes place on 60 acres at the Iverk Show Grounds & is located 6km from Carrick-on-Suir & 22kms from Waterford City. The Show will be well sign posted with Traffic Management & Roadside Signs indicating directions. We work closely with the Gardai to make sure we have a free flowing traffic system in place.
