Bulls of the Future

Rules and Regulations:

  1. To be eligible to enter classes 13-15, bulls must be a min carcass weight of 6kg and conformation of 0.6 or above breed average on the Terminal Index or the Dairy Beef Index at any point in 2025 to qualify.
  2. To be eligible to enter classes 16-17, bulls must be a min carcass weight of 5kg and conformation of 0.5 or above breed average on the Terminal Index or the Dairy Beef Index at any point in 2025 to qualify.
  3. Average Daily weight gain cannot exceed 1.7kgs on the day of the show.
  4. Classes 13, 14, 15 are open to bulls registered in either Aberdeen Angus Herd Book OR Irish Angus Herd Book.
  5.  To be eligible to enter classes 18-20 bulls must be equal to or greater than their average breed specific for both conformation and carcass weight or Terminal Index or Dairy Beef Index at any point in 2025 to qualify.
  6. Average Daily weight gain cannot exceed 1.7kgs on the day of the show.
  7. Classes 19 and 20 are open to any pedigree bull calf from a recognised beef breed registered with their respective societies
