On entering the show ground the first exhibits you will see are the vegetable classes. Since our last show in 2019 many of you have started growing your own vegetables. So now is the time to show off what you have produced this year.
For some classes it is already too late but for others you still have time. For example, lettuce, peas and beans will be on time if you start immediately.
Vegetables have always been shown at Iverk Show. In 1907 William Brown from Fiddown won first prize of 7 shillings for his ‘hank’ of 24 onions. Do you know what a hank is?
We wonder are there any relatives of William’s still exhibiting at the show?
