The cream of six other beef breeds on exhibit at Iverk 2019 will be top breeders of Simmental, Limousin, Blonde Aquitaine, Charolais, Hereford, Shorthorn. The AXA Insurance pedigree inter-breed beef championship finishes the beef judging nicely.
The commercial breeds will be well represented at Irelands oldest show with a total generous prize fund of €12,150
The popular Friesian classes will have a total prize fund of €10,565, including a new class. The pedigree/non-pedigree, dual purpose type bull/heifer born after Jan. 1st2019 has a prize fund of €600.

The future of Agricultural shows in this Country is in the hands of the young. Iverk 2019 includes classes for young handlers from age 12 to 26 years to display their skills in handling livestock.
