The Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday the 21st January at 8.30 pm in the Community Centre, Piltown. It will be preceded by the annual thanksgiving service at 7.30 pm. It will be held in Saint Paul’s Church, Piltown. The celebrant will be the Reverend Trevor Sargent.
Everyone is welcome to attend both. We especially welcome new members. If you would like to get involved in the show now is a great time to start. We are always looking for new members. Everyone brings their own and often new skills to the success of the show. Young and old you are all welcome. Farmers and non farmers all contribute to the success of the show.
As you know the first Iverk Show was held in 1826 in the grounds of what is now Kildalton College. It is a great tribute to committee members since then who kept the show going, who gave and still do give their skills and time voluntary. It is to those we say thank you and remember when we meet in Saint Paul’s. We especially remember those who passed away in 2018.
